May is a passionate film producer at Em Productions Myanmar, with 5 years of experience working with local and international corporations and filmmakers. She has co-founded Em Productions in 2019 and produced around 50 projects, recently worked on “Ten Years Myanmar’ Omnibus film and worked as one of the producers for [Segment 1: City of Bougainvillea, directed by Thaiddhi]. She embarked her creative career by joining Joosk animation studio and helped produce a lot of 2D animations. After then, she formed Em Post House with Emily, a former film editor, and provided Editing, Color grading, Animation and DCP exporting services for local feature films and independent shorts such as Cobalt Blue by director Aung Phyo, Seeking Wombs For Rebirths and Me and My Country Pornography by director Lin Het Aung and The Altar by Moe Myat May Zarchi, etc. Now, she’s developing her first feature film screenplay “Oh Happiness”, set to be filmed within the next two years with director Emily who is director and co-founder of Em Productions. Her mission is to create more intriguing stories and leave a lasting mark on the canvas of global cinema.
