Myo Thar Khin Myanmar

Myo Thar Khin is one of active young filmmakers in Myanmar. His first short film “1/4 wasted” and second short film “Age of Youth” have attained New Vision Award and Best Short Film Award at local Wathann film Festival 2019 and 2020. He founded Only One But Rat independent film production. In 2020, he produced four short films that were selected in the Wathann Film Festival and won three awards. He is a Locarno Open Doors alumni. He is eagerly learning on creative producing. His third short film “The Right One” is a part of “10 Years Myanmar” Omnibus film which is world premiere at Busan International Film Festival,2023. He often marks his storytelling with a young and lost character, who tries to find solace in the adult world with an improvised filmmaking style on documentary approach.
