Aung Lwin Moe is a filmmaker and commercial director. He graduated from Yadanabon University in Mandalay. His debut short film, Story in the Rain (2020), was screened at the 10th Wathann Film Festival. In 2023, he founded Uy Village Production, a company specializing in commercial video production, where he currently works as a director, scriptwriter, and editor. In 2017, he joined MODA Magazine as a videographer and video editor and started settling into this industry. He started working and shot many fashion videos. In 2019, he left MODA to become a freelance Director, Cinematographer & Video Editor. Since he became a freelancer,he had the opportunity to teach a script writing course at MMDC in his spare time. Then, in 2020, he shot the script he wrote for the first time in his life, and the name of the film is Story in the Rain. This movie was selected at the 10th Wathan Film Festival. His 2nd short film project The Connection was selected at Purin’s Short Film Camp 2023 in Thailand.
