MYO MIN HTWE is Lab Director of Dosicine.

He is an independent filmmaker for TV and films based in Yangon, Myanmar. He earned his M.A. in Cinema and Drama from NUAC. He initiated his short narrative script, “Human Nature,” which won the Golden Author Award and later led to his role as a head scriptwriter for MRTV-4, Channel 7, and 4HD Digital TV of Forever Group, contributing to various renowned TV projects. His TV writing portfolio includes “The Sign Of Love (Romance Drama Series),” “Pan Nu Thway” (Melodrama Series), “The Secret of Twin Rubies” (Melodrama Series), “I am Scout” (Romance Drama Series) and more.

In 2014, he co-founded “The Creative Playground,” and all the films from the production house have been featured in local and international film festivals. In 2016, he wrote “Kyi Nue Yeik” (Sitcom TV Series) and co-directed it with his Filipino director friend on ME TV channel. He represented Myanmar as a filmmaker in 12 ASEAN countries plus 3 countries (Mongolia, Bhutan, and South Korea) for short documentary co-production supported by Thai Media Fund. “Lucky” is his first full-length project, which received the Myanmar Script Fund Award in 2019.

His second screenplay of the full-length Film project, “Infinite Pain,” was selected for development in the International Film Business Academy (Producing) program at Busan Asian Film School.  He served as a story and script advisor for two Multi-Award-Winning short Animation Films: “My Life I don’t Want” and “I wanna go to school. In 2021, he started assisting as a trainer at Muditar Screenwriting School, spearheaded by Nyein Min (Academy).

Subsequently, he became a filmmaking educator, providing screenwriting and filmmaking training for PCC (Pro Creative Center) and AES Myanmar Creative Media Institute in Myanmar. Currently, he is working on two short documentaries on Burmese Lacquerware and two animation projects called “The Green” as a Screenwriter funded by Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung and “The Cake Thief” as a Producer.
