KISSADA KAMYOUNG graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Thammasat University and a master’s degree in Comparative Literature from Chulalongkorn University. He began working as a lecturer in the faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, where he teaches literary theory and film criticism.

Kissada also works in the film industry. He has produced a short film, ’Bangkok Dweller’, which was screened at the 13th Thai Short Film and Video Festival. He then worked as the line producer on Sompot Chidgasornpongse’s Railway Sleepers (2016), which had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, European premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, True/False Film Fest, and Sheffield Doc/Fest, among many others.Kissada is an alumni of Busan Asian Film School. He produced Sompot Chidgasornpongse’s new short film, The Physical Realm, and is now producing his new fictional feature film, 9 Temples to Heaven.
