Vicky Nway is a filmmaker and digital artist from Myanmar. She graduated from Raffles College in Thailand with a BA in Multimedia Design in 2015. Later, in 2021, she completed her studies in producing at Busan Asian Film School (AFiS) and became a member of the NAPnet producer’s network. She also participated in the Purin short film camp 2022 in Bangkok. Her career kicked off as an Editor at Bridge Creative Agency and Platform Production, where she focused on projects such as NGO documentaries, commercials, social awareness campaigns, online content, and advocacy videos. Transitioning to freelance work in 2021, she immersed herself in the independent film and art scene. Recently, she produced the short film directed by Moe Myat May War Chi with 3-ACT and PANORAMA Productions, receiving grants from SGIFF SEA-SHORTS, Purin Short Film Camp and Memory! Film Fund in 2022. She’s currently producing Myat Ei Mon’s short film “No Love Lost,” a recipient of the Memory! Film Fund in 2023. Additionally, she’s involved as the producer in Myo Set Nyein Chan’s upcoming feature documentary, “How are we doing?”.
