May Moe is a screenplay writer, director from Myanmar mostly focused on LGBTQ+.  In 2020, she was selected to participate in the “Rainbow Reels Film Lab ” of Color Rainbows with her novel “Love”, and the film was completed in 2022. In 2020, she was selected to participate in the Rainbow Reels Film Lab of Color Rainbows with the novel “Love”, received funding and completed the film as the title “The Cat’s Cradle”. The film premiered at Chiang Mai Pride Film Festival and the Pride Month Festival at the French Cultural Institute in Myanmar. She also wrote the screenplay and directed the LGBT short film “Equal Rights” which is a story written by Hmine Nyo. She wrote and filmed  “Coffee Date”  and “No means No (PSA awareness) with The Jigsaws Mansion Team. In 2022, she worked as an assistant script writer in the Burmese commercial series “Painting with Heart Blood ” on Channel K. She wrote the screenplay series’ ‘My Dear You” which was broadcast on Channel K online streaming platform and was popular among teenage audiences. In 2023, she wrote  the Canal + Premium Series – The Matches (the story of matches) was aired. Currently she is working on LGBTQ+ short films, commercial web series and television series.
